As public cuts darken the UK and threaten Europe, the following dialogue reminded me what is supposed to be ‘civil’ in civil society.
– Isn’t he ashamed your brother. Needing you to protect him.
– Where is the shame in that?
– Any boy his age who needs his sister to protect him is gonna find himself needing lot’s of protecting.
– Some people always need help. That doesn’t mean they are not worth helping.
